This Morning presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield wished Richard Madeley well after he was taken to the hospital.
The Good Morning Britain presenter is currently in North Wales filming for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! but fell ill.
Richard was sent to A&E after worrying production staff and his fellow co-stars with the sudden illness.
While discussing the news of Richard’s illness on This Morning, Holly said: “Richard, we’re sending you all our best wishes and we hope that he comes back to the castle soon.
“It’ll be terrible if he doesn’t come back, he’s amazing.”
An ITV spokesperson told the Mirror that he fell ill in the early hours of the morning and was seen by I’m A Celeb’s on-site medical team.
“He’s since been taken to hospital as a precaution, the health and safety of our campmates is our priority,” the spokesperson said.
It was recently reported that the show’s bosses could be replacing Richard following his hospital dash.
A source told The Sun: “DJ Locksmith is one of the standby celebs so could very well have a call-up from the ranks to replace Richard.”
The DJ was previously rumoured to be taking part in the series earlier this year.
Before being taken to the hospital, the GMB presenter was struggling through the series’ Kitchen Nightmares trial.
The TV host had 10 minutes to find 10 stars hidden within the trial area in pots and shelves but only won four.
Dec said: “Now as this is a trial it will be full of castle critters throughout.”
The klaxon sounded and Richard looked around the kitchen, putting his hand in holes on kitchen shelves to try and find and collect stars.

He then had to go headfirst into a chute which made Ant and Dec crack up laughing, and scrabble around in a sewer-like pipe filled with rotten fruit and veg. Despite Ant and Dec trying to help him, he struggled to find stars.
Richard let out a “holy moly” as fish guts and offal rained down on him as he failed to unknot the string on the stars that he did find.
I’m A Celeb only returned to our screens last Sunday, with the series happening at Gwrych Castle in North Wales for the second year in a row.
The line-up includes Louise Minchin, Matty Lee, Snoochie Shy, Dame Arlene Phillips, Naughty Boy, Kadeena Cox, David Ginola, Frankie Bridge and Danny Miller.
