Someone pushed you so far, you decided to completely distance yourself from them.
⠀⠀
Ever happened to you?
⠀⠀
I count three major episodes in my life that’ve led me to do just that. Because over time and repeated behavioral patterns – I could feel it in my core these relationships were damaging and toxic.
⠀⠀
I’m an intuitive person and my gut instinct has never failed me.
⠀⠀
However, what happens when you find yourself not able to break away because a certain relationship is just too precious. It could be a partner, a parent, a child or a best friend – they may be driving you to insanity, but you know you can’t break away completely.
⠀⠀
What do you do?
⠀⠀
How do you stay sane and true to yourself without being walked over, without compromising your core values?
⠀⠀
How do you reconcile those deep-rooted feelings that may be tearing you apart?
⠀⠀
The answer: by choosing to stop and asking ourselves – HOW WOULD MY HIGHEST SELF RESPOND TO THIS?
⠀⠀
This simple question is what I’ve based my entire coaching ethos on. I set this intention at the start of every client session.
⠀⠀
And I recently realized I wasn’t asking myself the same question when it came to some of the most crucial relationships in my life.
⠀⠀
How would my highest self respond to others when my feelings aren’t being considered, when my intentions aren’t being understood fully?
⠀⠀
The answer came loud and clear – WITH UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Because just as I have my pain, they have theirs.
⠀⠀
Healing needs to take place. So why not begin by keeping this in mind.
⠀⠀
How do you create a sacred space for healing? ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀
