Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice were hailed by Strictly Come Dancing fans for their “passion” amid rumours about a potential romance between the pair.
The EastEnders actress and her professional dancer partner impressed the viewers at home and the judges – Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas, Anton du Beke and guest judge Cynthia Erivo – with their Paso Doble to California Dreamin’ by Sia.
And fans took to social media to praise the pair’s dancing skills and their “passionate” Paso Doble, amid rumours that her boyfriend Samuel is “raising an eyebrow” about the close bond the pair share with one another.
One fan wrote: “Can Rose and Gio do no wrong? Such a passionate paso! #strictly.”
“Rose and Gio are phenomenal. When I didn’t think they could surprise me any more …. the fumble at the end was a shame but shouldn’t matter, the whole dance to that point was outstanding #strictly,” another added.
A third shared, “Rose is one of the most important and lovely participants ever on this show. She highlights so much on prime time TV. Plus her and Gio are a wonderful partnership. STUNNING dance yet again! #strictly#diversity#Inclusion#Rose,” whilst a fourth penned: “That’s the best Pasodoble I’ve ever seen in Strictly. Well done Rose and Gio. #Strictly.”
The pair received 33 points for their incredible Paso Doble.
It comes after a source claimed Rose and Giovanni have a “special kind of magic”, which is “very rare”.
