As I have spent time in the Old Testament, I have developed a love for God’s entire Word. The Old Testament is the road that leads to the New Testament. Without it, we are missing part of the map that ultimately leads us through the story that God has given us. Sure, parts of the OT are more challenging to read and relate with, but we must give the challenge a chance and dig deep. If we choose to neglect the first half of God’s Word, we are missing out on context for the second half of the Word.
