ITV bosses are unsure when I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will be returning amid fears the show might get cancelled.

The survival reality series hasn’t aired all weekend (November 27 and 28) after the set was badly damaged due to the poor weather conditions.

Even the show’s hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly don’t know when it will be safe again for the cast and crew to return to Gwrych Castle in North Wales.

A spokesperson for ITV said: “This is an ongoing live situation and we’re taking each day as it comes and working round the clock.

“Our priority is safely getting the whole site back up and running which means the show is back on air in the quickest time possible.

“We’re currently not in a position to confirm when we’ll be back on air but we’ll absolutely keep you posted when we get more updates.”

The stars were evacuated from the camp

ITV aired a pre-recorded show on Friday but pulled the rest of the show from the weekend schedule.

The stars were evacuated on Saturday evening and are now isolating on their own.

Ant and Dec took to their official Instagram to update fans on the bad weather situation.

“Hello and welcome to We’re Celebrities – Get Us In There!” Ant began, mimicking the show’s famous opening line.

Dec admitted they were both “desperate to get back on the telly” as he gave an update on the current situation.

He said: “I’ve got an update – site was quite badly damaged during the storm and they are in there working round the clock to try and get it back up and running and back up to speed so we can get back on air as quick as humanly possible.

“But we don’t know when that’s going to be just yet.”

Ant said he had his “fingers crossed” that it would be soon as he shared a snap from their walk in the Welsh countryside.

He added: “Little update from us we went on the coldest walk in the world today, it was very cold.”

ITV confirmed that the stars were back in quarantine following the arrival of Storm Arwen, which has been wreaking havoc in the UK.

Bosses made the choice to remove the celebrities from the campsite “get the production base back up and running” amid technical issues.

“Whilst we get the production base back up and running after suffering technical issues due to the storm, we have removed the celebrities from the castle,” ITV said in a statement.
