Britney Spears is freed after conservatorship hearing

Britney Spears has emotionally told Free Britney campaigners they helped save her life as they continued to fight her corner during her conservatorship.

The Toxic singer, 39, posted a heartfelt message to her fans on Tuesday, just days after a judge ruled to end her 13-year-long conservatorship.

In a nearly two-minute-long clip, Britney also explains some of the other little things she’s enjoying now that she’s free and says she hopes her story can help to inspire others.

The star hinted that she is set to follow the likes of Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and Adele in chatting about her life with Oprah Winfrey.

In the caption for the video upload, she said: “I might as well do a hint of my thoughts on the gram before I go and set things square on @Oprah!!!!!

“I mean who knows … I do know how embarrassing it is to share the fact I’ve never seen cash or wasn’t able to drive my car …. but honestly it still blows my mind every day I wake up how my family and the conservatorship were able to do what they did to me …

“It was demoralizing and degrading !!!! I’m not even mentioning all the bad things they did to me which they should all be in jail for … yes including my church going mother !!!!

“I’m used to keeping peace for the family and keeping my mouth shut … but not this time … I have NOT FORGOTTEN and I hope they can look up tonight and know EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN !!!!”

During the video, Britney says 13 years is a “really long time to be in a situation you don’t want to be in” before opening up about being grateful to her newfound independence.

She went on to say she isn’t here to be a victim anymore and says she’s a “very strong woman”.

She hopes her story can make a difference and told the Free Britney movement “you guys rock”.

Britney uploaded a near two-minute-long video to Instagram on Tuesday

“Honestly, my voice was muted and threatened for so long,” she said. “I wasn’t able to speak up or say anything and because of you guys and your awareness and knowing what was going on and delivering that news to the public for so long you gave them awareness to all of them.

“Because of you I think you guys saved my life in a way. One hundred per cent.”

The post come just hours after Britney hinted she would like another child in another Instagram upload.
