Hello!

I have a ton of new followers and I want to officially welcome you all to the Women Can Heal Community.
.
I’m Michele (she/her) and I’m a certified coach with a background in Psychology and Education. I’ve been coaching for about 5 years and it’s my vision to gather a community of healing women doing the work to become more secure and more powerful in their love lives and beyond.
.
Welcome if you fall in into either of these categories. Welcome if you don’t 🙂 there is definitely something here for you too.

I like to write about my feelings and personal growth. I like to write about love and healing.
.
Love came really really hard for me.
⁣.
It all started in high school when I told a boy I really liked him and he said he just wanted to be my friend. Ouch. I was crushed and made it mean so much about me.

For the next 15 years or so after that pivotal moment I was stuck in a cycle of dating that always ended one of three ways:
.
1. They’d tell me they needed to focus on themselves
2. They’d become distance and disappear completely
3. They’d tell me they met someone else
.
Dating and relationships was a huge source of confusion and pain for me and so for many years to distract myself I drank, ate, shopped, binged on Hulu and of course compulsively read self-help books on dating. I focused on my career and creative endeavors like djing and writing.
.
None of it was working to eliminate the pain because while I had all this great stuff in life, I still thought something was wrong with me because I didn’t have a boyfriend.
.
Finally after yet another heartbreak I picked up a book I saw on the clearance table at Barnes and Noble. It was Wherever You Go There You Are by Jon Kabat Zinn and so began my journey inward and I went all in.
.
It took some time, tears and help but I finally was able to shift the internal so the external could follow.

It’s been a rich journey of remembering who I am, who I was before I made a rejection mean something so deep about myself. Today I’m building out WCH to help women grow and heal themselves and get to use my own 3+ partnership to grow and heal myself even more.
