I had a fascinating chat recently with Tal who runs @compass4couples a relationship gym to help people in the early stages of relationships and author of the book “The Coupledom Trap”. We were discussing how many relationships are fake, the United front they portray on the outside is not how they feel on the inside.

I remember when I was unhappy in my relationship, my thoughts were on what other people would think! My friends would often say “how will you cope financially, isn’t it easier to just stay”. As Tal says in his book, what if we were told “If you are not happy do something about it, you only live once”..

💔 Over the past week I’ve heard from 2 female clients in peri and post menopause, 1 has walked away realising that her partner has been causing her mental health issues. The other has been taking homeopathic remedies and found the courage to have that difficult conversation with her husband after years of being unhappy, and feels a weight has been lifted.
