I spoke to moms (and dads) on reclaiming s$xual and sensual confidence post partum as a guest on a recent fb live. And a lot of the tips were based on individual work. I was asked if that’s relevant to how a couple improves their s$x life.
⠀⠀
Here’s my response : I’m not saying individual work is all there is to create the type of intimacy and connection you want. At some point, a lot of work between both partners is involved.
⠀⠀
And part of what makes intimacy and a connected partnership so wonderful is the ability to vulnerable with each other, in love and in s$x. And contrary to tips that go straight to “top 5 techniques” (which are great too but not what supports you in the long term – is to be grounded and fully embracing what your relationship to your s$xuality is.
⠀⠀
Until you take that relationship out of the shadows, out of shame, out of judgement, out of disconnection and prejudice, it will hinder the extent of how safe you can feel with someone else (esp with someone you love) in one of the most vulnerable situations.
