Ooo… hitting this controversial passage in Sunday School today. 😂 Here’s what I think about it. I think given the context of the whole passage, and the other teachings in the Bible about a wife’s relationship to her husband, that this is talking about maintaining and treating him with a very high level of respect- not one bit less than you would give anyone else that you love and honor. Probably more. I do think this verse is often misused and taken out of its context.
