Land mother to accommodity and weapon
There was myth that land is a mother of the peasantry, actually it’s commodity and a tool of maintain dominant status in hierarchy, even it’s a weapon sometimes to caste repression on marginal agriculture labour in Punjab/India. In the times of capitalization of agricultural there all land relationships are changing and peasantry loosing their relationship with land and their status.
