Sometimes in Relationship, we are very much tempted to switch over to the estate of our partner simply because of a misunderstanding—
The man wants to (negatively) react/respond ‘as a woman’ simply because his woman is manifesting a womanly flaw/weakness; he forgets he was specifically made a man to be manly.
Likewise, the woman wants to (negatively) react/respond ‘as a man’ simply because her man is manifesting a manly flaw/weakness; she forgets she was specifically made a woman to be womanly.
This is about the greatest relevance of the spiritual attitude/disposition of Self–control.

rather, overcome evil with goodness because you possess in you enough goodness to swallow up all the evil in the entire world.

We must uphold the honour and glory of our estate by holding firmly to the Purpose for which we were created.

The cure for immaturity is not immaturity, it is Self–control.

Remember that you are to be their peace when they manifest that they are troubled or experiencing a storm:
you recover/restore them by upholding your estate not by shutting off the Self–control in your spirit and switching over to their estate in the flesh.
