Only after being married did I TRULY begin to understand what it means to love – for better, for worse. Its easy to make up a list of rules and ideals that you envision your future spouse, love life, marriage & family to be like. Its easy to leave someone as soon as you find them crazy, flawed & unexciting cause you think you know everything, when in fact you’re just selfish. You want the benefits that come with love like companionship & a higher level of intimacy but not willing to pay the price of commitment, compassion & humility. From the bottom of my heart I will let you know that what I thought I knew about love & relationships 3 years ago, I no longer know now. The longer you stay in a marriage, the more you know that you just don’t know anything at all. 🤷🏻‍♀️ So I cant really tell you anything about marriage but one thing and thats this:
